Why do the perpetrators in Congress put on their PC ';we-care'; masks & give long speeches during ';inquiries';?

Because they tell us what we want to see and hear. They want us to think they are working on the problems with the economy, jobs, etc. When in fact what they are really doing is lining their pockets with bribes, getting a new book deal, going to cocktail parties, and just generally wasting our hard earned tax dollars.Why do the perpetrators in Congress put on their PC ';we-care'; masks %26amp; give long speeches during ';inquiries';?
Because they have been in Congress for so long that they know how to do it and do it well. They have no conscious and know how to talk one way but turn around and do the opposite and most people do not know or remember what they said. A lot of the Senators have been in the Senate all their lives and now they are old. I think we should put a term limit on them like we do the President so that they do not become so complacent. For the most part politicians care only about themselves..There is a huge difference between a career politician and a statesmen..and statesmen are very rare.
