How to tell your son santa's elves didn't make enough optimus prime masks?

he's 6 and in first grade, and when I was hinting that these might be hard for santa's elves to make last week he said, they could just work really hard on this one toy for him, because that's all he wants! any suggestions? thanks!How to tell your son santa's elves didn't make enough optimus prime masks?
Get him a transformer and attach a card to it from Santa....write something along the lines of...

';Merry Christmas Tommy,

I know how much you like the transformers and really wanted an Optimus Prime Voice Changer Mask this Christmas. I'm really sorry, but my elves were so busy rushing to make all the toys that they broke their tools and weren't able to finish yours. I promise, I'll bring it by as soon as it's finished, just for you Tommy.

Love Santa';

Then go out after Christmas when they aren't in such a high demand, buy it, wrap it, and put it at the foot of his bed with another note from Santa saying....

';Here's the gift I promised you. My elves got some new tools for Christmas and were able to finish it. I hope you enjoy it, and I'm sorry for the delay. Love, Santa.';

Or you could buy it right after Christmas, and just wrap it up and tell your son you found a gift Santa must have misplaced. Or you could spend 50 bucks on ebay....or just tell him Santa's elves were too tired and they promise to make it for his birthday.

Normally I wouldn't suggest going above and beyond to get your children exactly what they want because, afterall, they aren't going to get what they want often in life. But if it's the ONE thing he wants and you just can't get it because it's sold out everywhere, then I'd give him a raincheck lol. Good luck.How to tell your son santa's elves didn't make enough optimus prime masks?
Well.......you could just tell him that santas elves didnt have enough time or that they gave them to the more needy children. Or you could order it online ...............also if you get one later you could tell him that it was in your mailbox with a letter on it.................if it is after christmas write that Santa is sorry it wasnt on time or write a letter saying that he will get it sometime later
By him the mask and write santa on it or a special gift from santas lil helpers. Y dont u want to buy the mask, how much is it, 15 bucks.
If you cannot get him the mask, then leave a letter from Santa saying that he could not get it done in time and that he was sorry, but he hopes that he enjoys what he left him.
Lots on Ebay! I got the Cyber Stompin Transformers that you can't find in the store anymore either. If you hurry you could still make your little boy's eyes shine on Christmas!! If you don't get what he really wanted (not like it's a pony or something that is practically unobtainable)...there's no way of telling him without him still being disappointed. Fellow mother of a 6 year old boy. Good Luck!
Prettan gets 10 pts. in my book- I would do the same thing!
Internet. Give him money so he can buy one after x-mas.
I would tell your son that Santa tries to get all the boys and girls toys that they like and want, but that he doesn't always give people exactly what they ask for. Tell him Santa's more concerned with making sure he has toys that will be fun than worrying about what specific toy it is.
