What do face masks do?

Hi, what do those face masks do? And are the ones at walmart good or should I look into a cleanser? If so which one do you recommend and why? What do face masks do?
Face masks draw out dirt, oil, and bacteria out of your pores. They can also tighten, prevent blemishes, and address certain skin concerns depending on which kind you buy. A cleanser and mask are two different things, but I recommend buying a cleanser if you don't already have one you are completely satisfied with.

Use a gentle cleanser called Purpose from the Johnson %26amp; Johnson brand to clean your face without any harsh chemicals.

In my experience homemade masks give me far better results than any other store-bought or department store masks that I have bought in the past. You should try searching online for some facial mask recipes. My favorite mask would be a homemade green-tea, aloe, and lemon juice mask/scrub. It calms any irritation in my skin, makes it smooth, and very hydrated. Remember to wash off your masks with a gentle washcloth afterwards though. What do face masks do?
Face masks draw impurities out of the pores and help minimize their visibility. It's like a deep pore treatment. My personal favorite is Burt's Bees Pore Refining Mask.

Egg white and oatmeal masks are the best. Gently massage the oatmeal and egg white on the face. Let it sit til your face is hard. You can feel the egg white tighten. Rinse off and you will see a beautiful glow.
The Queen Helene Mint Julep is really popular
