Does anyone have any recipes for face masks?

Plain yogurt makes a good, soothing mask. You can add some ground oatmeal for a little extra exfoliation and honey for a little moisture.

Mashed avocado or banana with a tsp. of honey make a good moisturizing mask.

Plain whipped egg white will help tighten pores.

You can use plain Milk of Magnesia to absorb oil and tighten pores. Just put a thin layer on and let it dry for 10-30 mins. before rinsing off w/ warm water.

Or you can crush up 6 plain, uncoated aspirin tablets and mix it w/ a little water to make mask.

Or use one of these variations to make a cleanser or mask:

Mixture: 6 crushed aspirins, mixed with the liquid facial cleanser at hand (I usually use either cetaphil or tersaseptic), and 1-2 drops of tea tree oil.

Mix half a teaspoon of crushed tablets with Queen Helene Mint Julep mask and aloe vera gel.

Held 6 aspirin in my palm, and slowly dripped water onto them until they fizzled and dissolved! Once dissolved, I added 2-3 drops of honey into it and mixed it around with my finger. Applied to my face. Keep it on 15-20 mins.

Mix 6 aspirin tablets with a little aloe to make a mask.

Use about 6 uncoated tablets, witch hazel, tee trea oil, and aloe to make a thin paste.

For toner:

8 ounce bottle of distilled water add four uncoated aspirin

or

mix of 1/2 water, 1/2 witch hazel, 15 aspirin, and 2 drops of tea tree essential oil and 2 drops of rosemary essential oil

1. Egg White Mask

Simply whip up an egg white until it is nice and frothy, then apply it to clean face, avoiding eyes, and let dry. It will start to feel tight as it is drying. Rinse off with warm water, tone and moisturize. This mask will tighten and firm your skin. I love how soft my skin feels after using this!

2. Yogurt Mask

Apply plain yogurt to clean face and allow to dry. It is best to lie down while you wait. Rinse with warm water. This mask helps even skin tone with repeated use.

3.Oatmeal Mask

Mix 4 tsp. ground oatmeal and 4 tsp. milk, and let sit for a few minutes to thicken. Spread onto clean face and neck. Relax until dry. Rinse. This mask is also good at evening out skin tone.Does anyone have any recipes for face masks?

Perfect skin
You need 3 tbsp of powdered milk, 1 tbsp of honey, 1 tsp of liquid glycerin, 1 egg white (add egg white and blend).Make sure mix the ingredients when you put it in. when you're wearing it, leave it on for 15 min. and rinse. It will clear your skin.
Basically it depends on your skin what masks will suit. But with me and my freinds is that we more often use the same mask, which is the honey mask. you need a tablespoon of honey, few drops of lemon and a egg white. mix all this and the apply on to your face for 15-20 mins for great results. Masks (homemade or otherwise) should stay on for 10-15 minutes, should follow with a cleansing and a thin layer of moisturizer.. there is also this great website you can use to find the masks that will suit your skin........http://www.herbal-home-remedies.com/beau鈥?/a>
