Need to get my hair back to healthy. used masks, vitamins, don't wash it every day. suggestions?

I bleached my hair in Jan 07 and it's still so damaged. I have used really good products on my hair, used masks, taken vitamins, I don't wash my hair every day. What do I do?!Need to get my hair back to healthy. used masks, vitamins, don't wash it every day. suggestions?
I once went in a hot tub that had waaaay too much chlorine in it and it completely fried my hair. I know you mentioned that you've used multiple hair products that didn't work, but did you ever try Vo5 Hot Oil Treatment? There are 3 different ones. ';Hot Oil Treatment';, ';Moisturizing Hot Oil';, and ';Moisturizing Hot Oil Showerworks';. You'll have to read the packages and decided which one would work best for you, but I was amazed at how it repaired my fried hair. I would definitely recommend this product. Good luck to you! =)Need to get my hair back to healthy. used masks, vitamins, don't wash it every day. suggestions?
You need to use good quality products (those from a salon). Try Extreme shampoo %26amp; conditioner by Redken, that stuff works miracles. When your hair is damp, before your blow dry it apply Potion 9 by Sebastion. If you use a flat iron or curling iron apply a heat protectant to your hair before running them through. Once a week use a treatment on your hair, Extreme makes a treatment called Rescue Force. Try to go as long as you can without washing your hair, if it gets greasy than wash it, but try not to wash it every day. Eat healthy, drink lots of water, %26amp; take a multivitamin. Hair grows from the inside out, so what you put into your body affects your hair, skin, %26amp; nails. And make sure to get your hair cut every two months to get the split ends cut off.
Hair isn't alive and it doesn't grow. Hair is an accumulation of a protein called keratin inside the follicle. As it builds up on the bottom it is pushed out the top, creating ';hair growth';. This means that nothing that you ingest has any effect on the condition of the hair that you already have.

Do you blow dry your hair? Blow drying hair is bad for it, far worse than straightening is! Blow drying hair removes 90% of hair's moisture, leaving it dry, brittle, and prone to damage. The outside layer of the hair shaft is called the cuticle and is like shingles on a roof. You want this layer to lay flat down, but a blow dryer blows it open. This means that your hair's natural oils that keep it healthy are sucked out when you shampoo. This causes breakage more than anything short of chemicals. Straightening may rip at the cuticle a little, but it is nothing compared to how bad a blow dryer is, it only removes 10% of moisture.

You need to buy a salon quality conditioner! You have to have a chemical to lift the cuticle (outside layer of the hair shaft) and allow the conditioning agents to get inside, you only need the size of a quarter! Shampoo your hair and wash it out in hot water, apply the conditioner. Blow dry your hair on high heat for 10-15 minutes, and let it sit for 5. Then wash it out in cold water. This is the deep conditioning treatment that we do in a salon. It isn't anything special, in fact you can buy the stuff we use, and do it yourself for the cost of 1 bottle! Bed Head Dumb Blonde is amazing as is Matrix Color Smart Masque. You can do this with a regular conditioner, but doing it with a masque is even better. And the plus side is that it actually works! People underestimate the power of conditioner because the put it in for 15 seconds and wash it out, but it does miracles when you it right!
Dye it a darker colour, bleach takes all the 'goodness' out your hair, dying it dark puts minerals back in it therefore it makes it grow.

However good the hair products are they still damage it. So try to cut down on them.

Use a good shampoo and conditioner such as Pantene Repair and Protect, also leave conditioner on for a while before rinsing.

Have it cut regulary and let it go greasy occasionaly x x
try Paul Mitchell hair repair treatment.

also, use repairing conditioners. Biolage is a good brand for that.
